ASX Announcement
13 October 2026
OncoSil Medical Participates in Official Launch of PALACROS European Research
Programme in Amsterdam
Key points
• The PALACROS European research programme has officially launched in Amsterdam, bringing
together leading European hospitals, researchers and industry partners to advance treatment
options for patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer (LAPC).
• OncoSil Medical Europe GmbH is a consortium partner through its participation in the PULSE Phase
II clinical study, which will investigate repeat OncoSil™ treatment in 120 patients across five
European centres.
• The official kick-off meeting marks an important milestone in the commencement of coordinated
activities across the PALACROS consortium.
• The collaboration aims to improve access to multidisciplinary pancreatic cancer care and support
the development of innovative treatment strategies across Europe.
• OncoSil™ device treatments provided in-kind as part of the trial, with no other study related-costs
applicable, resulting in significant cost savings (est. $9M) versus an OncoSil Medical sponsored
study.
Sydney, Australia – 13 October 2026: OncoSil Medical Limited (ASX: OSL) (“OncoSil Medical” or “the
Company”), a medical device company focused on localised treatments for patients with unresectable locally
advanced pancreatic cancer (LAPC) and distal cholangiocarcinoma (dCCA), is pleased to announce its
participation in the official launch of the PALACROS European research programme, held in Amsterdam, the
Netherlands.
The launch brought together leading European clinical institutions, researchers, patient organisations and
industry partners to formally commence the collaborative initiative aimed at improving treatment outcomes
and expanding access to specialised multidisciplinary care for patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer.
OncoSil Medical, through its European subsidiary OncoSil Medical Europe GmbH, is participating in the
consortium through the PULSE Phase II clinical study, which will investigate repeat treatment with the
OncoSil™ device in 120 patients across five European centres.
The official kick-off meeting provided an opportunity for consortium partners to align on the programme's
objectives, research priorities and collaborative activities as PALACROS moves into its implementation phase.

Nigel Lange, CEO & Managing Director of OncoSil Medical, said:
“The official launch of PALACROS in Amsterdam represents an important milestone in bringing together leading
European institutions to advance pancreatic cancer research and treatment. We are pleased to be part of this
collaborative initiative through the PULSE Phase II study and to contribute to a programme focused on
improving treatment options for patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer. We look forward to working
closely with our consortium partners as PALACROS progresses.”
Advancing European Collaboration in Pancreatic Cancer Care
PALACROS is a European research initiative supported by the Horizon Europe programme and the EU Mission
on Cancer, bringing together multidisciplinary expertise to investigate innovative treatment approaches and
improve care pathways for patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer.
The programme seeks to strengthen collaboration between specialist treatment centres, support the
generation of clinical evidence and address disparities in access to advanced pancreatic cancer care across
Europe.
For OncoSil Medical, participation in the consortium provides an opportunity to engage with leading European
pancreatic cancer specialists and contribute to a coordinated research effort focused on improving patient
outcomes.
Under the study agreement, OncoSil Medical will provide OncoSil™ devices in-kind, with no additional study-
related costs to be incurred by the Company. This enables the generation of valuable clinical data in LAPC
without the significant site, monitoring, regulatory, data management and operational expenses typically
associated with a company-sponsored trial of similar scale and duration.
As a result, the arrangement is expected to deliver an estimated cost saving of approximately $9 million
compared with conducting an equivalent OncoSil Medical-sponsored study, while allowing the Company to
benefit from the clinical evidence generated. The in-kind structure therefore represents a highly capital-
efficient approach to expanding the clinical evidence base for the OncoSil™ device in LAPC, with the trial
sponsor bearing the associated study costs rather than the Company.
Key study details include:
• Study design: Phase II, multi-centre, randomised (1:1)
• Patients: 120 participants across five European centres
• Patient population: Patients with unresectable, non-progressive LAPC following at least four months
of induction chemotherapy
• Treatment arms:
o Single OncoSil™ device implantation; or
o Repeat OncoSil™ device implantation every three months until disease progression

• Primary endpoint: Nine-month local progression-free survival
• Secondary endpoints: Overall progression-free survival, overall survival, safety and tolerability, quality
of life, pain, opioid use, conversion to surgical resection, and biomarker assessment.
• The study will also include a health economic assessment evaluating the cost-effectiveness and budget
impact of repeat versus single OncoSil™ device implantation.
The PULSE Trial builds on earlier prospective clinical studies, including TRIPP-FFX, PANCOSIL and PANCO, and
aims to generate multicentre evidence pertaining to the role of repeat OncoSil™ device treatment in improving
local tumour control and potentially increasing the number of patients eligible for curative surgery.
PALACROS also identifies innovative local therapies, including the OncoSil™ device, as a key component of its
strategy to improve outcomes for patients who remain unresectable after chemotherapy. The programme
seeks to generate prospective evidence on therapies that may improve local disease control and increase
conversion to surgical candidates.

About OncoSil Medical
OncoSil Medical (ASX) is a global medical device company focused on Interventional Oncology, with a mission to improve outcomes for
people living with cancer. The company has developed OncoSil™, a single-use brachytherapy (internal radiation) device that delivers a
pre-determined dose of beta radiation directly into cancerous tissue using targeted intratumoural placement of Phosphorous-32 (³²P)
Microparticles. Its targeted approach enables a greater radiation dose to be delivered directly to the tumour while limiting exposure
to surrounding critical organs.
In the United States, OncoSil™ is indicated for the treatment of patients with distal cholangiocarcinoma (dCCA) that is both unresectable
(locally advanced and/or unfit for surgery) and non-metastatic, as an adjunct to systemic therapy. In markets outside the United States
where OncoSil™ has received regulatory approval, OncoSil™ is indicated for the treatment of patients with unresectable locally
advanced pancreatic cancer, in addition to gemcitabine-based chemotherapy.
Pancreatic cancer is the 12th most common cancer in men and the 11th most common cancer in women across the globe, with 500,000
new cases detected every year1. Since pancreatic cancer is generally diagnosed at a later stage, it has a poor prognosis for long-term
survival. Distal cholangiocarcinoma (dCCA) is a rare form of bile duct cancer. It is often diagnosed at an advanced stage, when surgical
treatment may no longer be possible, and is associated with a poor prognosis.
OncoSil™ has received CE Marking approval, providing marketing authorisation in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
OncoSil™ has also received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under a Humanitarian Device Exemption (HDE)
for the treatment of patients with unresectable, non-metastatic distal cholangiocarcinoma (dCCA), as an adjunct to systemic therapy.
OncoSil™ has been designated as a Breakthrough Device in Europe and the United States. It is currently approved for sale in 30+
countries, including the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Israel, with commercial
